• The Award Ceremony will take place on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 7:00 pm at The Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts.

• Each category (Art, Essay) in each level (Middle, High) will have 10 awards for the students and 1 award for the sponsoring teacher. This means ATCC will distribute 44 awards in total.

• These are the awards per each category (Art Middle, Art High, Essay Middle, and Essay High):

1^st Place: Apple iPad Computer (Student and Teacher)

2^nd Place: $200 Gift Card (Student)
3^rd Place: $100 Gift Card (Student)
4^th Place: $75 Gift Card (Student)

5^th Place: $50 Gift Card (Student)

6^th through 10^th Places: $25 Gift Card (Student)

Every Student: Certificate of Participation

• The Awards Ceremony of the Southeastern-wide Contest will take place on March 25^th, 2011 at 3:00 pm in the auditorium of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.

• Please be advised that students and teachers who have participated in the trips to Turkey as past winners of the Contest are ineligible to go again. The cash awards will still be applicable to anyone, including second-time winners. If the sponsoring teacher of a first-time winning student has previously participated in our trips to Turkey, that student should choose a different teacher to travel with him or her to Turkey.

• If any student is not able to participate in the Trip to Turkey, his or her sponsoring teacher will no longer be eligible for inclusion in the awarded trip to Turkey.

• Parents are not permitted to replace teachers unable to go on the trip nor to participate in the trip to Turkey.

• These are the awards per each category (Art Middle, Art High, Essay Middle, and Essay High):

1^st Place: All-Expenses-Paid Trip to Turkey for 10 days (Student, Teacher and Superintendent) *

2^nd Place: Trip to Turkey (All-Expenses-Paid except for international airfare to and from Istanbul, Turkey (Student, Teacher and Superintendent)) plus a $500 gift card (Teacher will get $250) **

3^rd Place: Trip to Turkey (**All-Expenses-Paid except for international airfare to and from Istanbul, Turkey (Student, Teacher and Superintendent)) plus a $300 gift card (Teacher will get $150) **

4^th Place: $200 gift card (Teacher will get $100)

5^th Place: $150 gift card (Teacher will get $75)

6^th through 10^th Places: $100 gift card (Teacher will get $50)

*The estimated value of the 1^st Place Trip is $4,500.00. This includes roundtrip international airfare, accommodation, transportation, food, admission fees to sites, etc.
**The estimated value of either the 2^nd or the 3^rd Place Trip is $3,500.00. For these awards, round-trip airfare to and from Istanbul, Turkey shall not be included. Istanbul Center’s partnering organizations in Turkey will meet the expenses of accommodation, transportation, food, admission fees to museums, etc. – all of which, when combined, are the more costly parts of arranging the trips.
