Michael T. Boylan
President & CEO, WJCT
The WJCT staff as General Manager and CEO in May of 1999 with the responsibility of overseeing the day to day operation of the organization. In December of that same year, Michael assumed the title and responsibilities as the organization's President/CEO. He currently serves on the Boards of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Leadership Jacksonville, the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, Community Health Charities of Florida, and the North Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Michael is a trustee member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Study Circles Working Committee for Jacksonville's Human Rights Commission. Recently he was appointed Chair of Jacksonville's Mortgage Foreclosure Task Force.
Michael is a graduate of John Carroll University and received his Master's degree in Telecommunications from Kent State University. He and his wife, Susan, have been married for thirty-three years and have two grown children.

JENNIFER CARROLL Jennifer enlisted in the United States Navy in 1979. She rose through the ranks from an enlisted Jet Mechanic and retired as a highly decorated Lieutenant Commander, Aviation Maintenance Officer after 20 years. She received numerous personal awards and decorations during her distinguished military career.
In 2001 President George W. Bush appointed her to "The White House Presidential Scholar's Commission," where she served until the spring of 2004. In 2004, President Bush appointed her to the Veterans' Disability Benefits Commission where she served until October 2007.
In April of 2003 Jennifer won the special election for State House of Representatives, District 13. She is the first African American Republican female ever elected to the Florida legislature. Currently, Jennifer is the Chairman of the Economic Development Policy Committee and serves on the Transportation & Economic Development Appropriations Committee, the Energy & Utilities Policy Committee, the Economic Development & Community Affairs Policy Council, and the Select Policy Council on Strategic & Economic Planning.
Jennifer holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from St. Leo University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of New Mexico.
Jennifer resides in Clay County and is married to Mr. Nolan Carroll. They have three children, Nolan II, Nyckie and Necho.
